Windows & Doors in Ancaster, Hamilton & Burlington

Replacement windows and entry doors installed, flashed and sealed properly, so they stop the drafts as well as change the look of the house.

Replacement windows and entry doors

Openings that seal, not just openings that look new

A new window or door is only as good as the installation around it. We fit replacement windows and entry doors square, level and properly flashed, so they seal against the weather, open the way they should and finish cleanly against the siding.

Old windows and doors are usually the draftiest part of the house and the first thing a visitor notices from the driveway. Replacing them changes both: lower heating and cooling loss, and a sharper, more finished exterior.

Because we also do siding, soffit and fascia, we can replace windows and doors as part of an exterior project so the trim, flashing and cladding all meet properly. That is where most window jobs done on their own fall short.

What is included

Replacement windows

Existing openings measured and fitted with new units, insulated and sealed around the frame.

Entry and patio doors

Front, side and patio doors installed square and weather-tight, with hardware and trim finished.

Flashing and sealing

Proper flashing and sealing at every opening so water and air stay outside.

Trim and siding tie-in

Exterior trim matched to your siding so the finished look is seamless.

The best time to replace windows and doors is while the siding is off. One company, one schedule, and every opening flashed into the new exterior.

Windows questions

Can you replace windows without redoing the siding?

Yes. Windows and doors can be replaced on their own. We take care with the existing trim and siding so the finish still looks right.

Do you replace doors as well as windows?

Yes. Entry doors, side doors and patio doors are all part of what we do.

Should I do windows before or after new siding?

Ideally at the same time, so each opening is flashed into the new exterior. If they have to be separate, windows first is usually the better order. Ask us and we will advise for your house.
