Siding in Ancaster, Hamilton & Burlington
A new exterior in a wide range of colours and finishes. Fixes water damage and heat loss, not just the look of the house.
Six types of siding
A new exterior that works as hard as it looks
Old siding does more than look tired. It lets water in behind the wall and heat out through it. New siding from Southcote fixes both, and gives your home a completely new face in the colour and finish you actually want.
We install vinyl (horizontal or vertical), insulated vinyl, aluminum, Hardie board, wood siding and ACM cladding in a wide range of colours and finishes, from a single damaged wall to a complete re-clad. The prep matters as much as the product: house wrap, flashing and trim details are where cheap siding jobs fail, so that is where we spend the time.
Suppliers like Gentek, James Hardie, Royal Building Products and Maibec come with a strong reputation and factory warranties, so the finish you choose is one that will hold up to an Ontario winter.

Siding questions
Which siding material should I choose?
It depends on the look you want, the budget and how much maintenance you are prepared to do. We walk you through vinyl, insulated vinyl, aluminum, Hardie board, wood and ACM options with samples so you can see them against your home.
Can you replace just one damaged section?
Yes. We repair and match sections where the rest of the siding is still in good shape, and tell you honestly if a full replacement makes more sense.
Do you handle soffit, fascia and eavestrough at the same time?
Yes, and it is usually the right time to do it. Doing the whole exterior in one project means the details line up and you only have one company to deal with.
