Soffit, Fascia & Eavestrough in Ancaster, Hamilton & Burlington

Eavestrough, downspouts, soffit and fascia treated as a proper trade, not add-on work. Keeps water, and animals, out of your home.

Not an afterthought

Water management that protects the whole house

Most companies treat eavestrough as supplemental work. We don’t. A properly sized, properly pitched eavestrough system is what keeps water away from your foundation, out of your basement and off your fascia. It deserves the same care as the roof above it.

Eavestrough and downspouts move thousands of litres of water off your roof every year. When they sag, leak or overflow, that water ends up against the foundation, in the basement or behind the siding. We install and replace complete systems in 5″ and 6″ profiles, European box gutter and half-round, sized and pitched for your roof.

Soffit and fascia finish the roofline and close the gap that lets squirrels, birds and raccoons into the attic. We replace rotted wood, install vented soffit for proper attic airflow, and cap the fascia so it never needs painting again.

Eavestrough questions

Do you do eavestrough on its own, or only with a roof?

On its own, absolutely. Eavestrough is a full trade for us, not something we only do when we are already on the roof.

What is the difference between soffit and fascia?

Fascia is the vertical board along the roof edge that the eavestrough attaches to. Soffit is the underside of the overhang. Together they finish the roofline, ventilate the attic and keep animals out.

Can you fix a basement that leaks when it rains?

Often the cause is water from the roof landing right beside the foundation. We assess the eavestrough, downspouts and grading at the house and fix the roofline part of the problem.
